How large is the Berwang-Bichlbach ski area?

The Berwang ski arena is a family-friendly ski area with 36 kilometers of slopes and 13 modern cable cars and lifts. Of these, 20 kilometers are classified as easy (marked blue), making them ideal for families with children and beginners.

Is the Berwang-Bichlbach ski area snow-sure?

Most of the slopes in the Berwang ski arena are located at over 1,300 meters in altitude. Around 80% of the slopes are covered by snowmaking systems, which ensures high snow reliability.

What activities are available off the slopes?

In Berwang, there are numerous winter hiking trails. All recommended trails are family-friendly and mostly suitable for off-road strollers.
Tobogganing in the Zugspitz Arena is always great fun, no matter your age. The toboggan run is open daily from 8:50 AM to 4:15 PM, depending on snow conditions, from the start of the season until early April.
The Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena also enjoys an excellent reputation among cross-country skiers. The trails in the Berwang-Bichlbach region start either at the valley station of the Almkopfbahn in Bichlbach or at the valley stations of the Mooslift and Thanellerkarlift in Berwang.
